Taking it way back!
I remember...... walking down the hallways of Morris back when Morris was alone. it only had one name, but we were all so dynamic that it felt like we should be called various names. Then one day it happened. i went to school and realized that preparations were being made to change my school into many little schools. All into one. At first i was excited, but then it hit me. no more Morris alone. Now Morris will share its wonderful structure with all these other great schools. I enjoyed every bit of my three years at Morris. Going to my JROTC class dressed in my green suit, rushing to dance class and changing in that little space between the bathroom and the dance room. I even enjoyed the Robotics Team meetings that sometimes lasted all the way until 10:00 pm at night. I remember that it was in 2002 when my team decided to name the 395 Robotics into the 2 train Robotics. We used to take the 2 train to go downtown to Columbia University to get work done there with our mentors. Those were the good ol' days. I miss singing for my friends and doing talent shows in the spring. But what i miss most is the support that i got from my counselors. Especially Mrs Cervice. She was my mentor and friend, and without her i don't know where i would be. Morris was my safe Haven from a rough home life, and i know that many students that are to come will enjoy this school as much as i did. Much love to Mr. Bosejour my math teacher, and Mr. Israel who was my business mentor. Much love to Major Nogel and Sargent Cruz for their Guidance in JROTC. I had a lot of fun at the ROTC camp back in 02. Anyways, i wont write a book, but i will say this, Morris Academy is the place to go if you want to succeed in life.
