Students Are Responsible For:

1. Coming to school daily to learn.
2. Following the directions of all adults on campus.
3. Respecting and caring for school property and property of others.
4. Demonstrating good citizenship and behavior.
5. Being on time dressed appropriately.
6. Working in each class until dismissed by the teacher.
7. Bringing all supplies needed for classes every day.
8. Participating in all classroom activities.
9. Maintaining a planning book with all assignments written in.
10. Showing courtesy and respect for everyone.
11. Daily violin practice and daily listening to the Suzuki CD.
12. Maintaining good personal hygiene, including clean, short fingernails.  

Parents Are Responsible For: 

1. Reinforcing your childs desire to learn.
2. Guiding your child to develop acceptable behavior that includes self-control and accountability for his/her actions.
3. Knowing, understanding, and supporting the rules your child is expected to follow.
4. Being sure your child is in school and on time.
5. Staying aware of all of your childs assignments, special projects, due dates and extracurricular activities.
6. Notifying the school in advance on any day your child is going to be absent or late.
7. Ensuring that your child is clean, in good health, and properly nourished.
8. Providing a quiet time and place to study.
9. Making sure that students have all supplies needed for school.
10. Providing your child with the required clothing for school and for dance classes.
